DES MOINES, Iowa - Half of the Class 3A semifinals field is set after #9 Pella and Forest city tangled in their quarterfinal round meeting. Pella made a statement early and never looked back as they cruised to a 85-48 victory over the Indians.

Pella used a balanced attack in the opening half as they streaked to a 19-12 first quarter lead and 42-28 at the break led by Nick Dorman with 10 points off the bench.  Forest City was led by the 1-2 punch of Tyler Putz and Kyle Rosaker who combined for 19 points.  The Little Dutch shot 57% in the first half while the Indians hit 47% including 5 for 10 from 3-point range.

After forest city closed the gap to 42-34, Pella outscored Forest city 43-14 to end the Indians season at 21-4.  Forest City was led by Tyler Putz with 19 points.  Kyle Rosaker added 12 which included the first 9 points for Forest City.

Pella improves to 21-3 and will face the #6 Mount Pleasant in the first of the Class 3A semifinals on Thursday night at 6:35.  The Little Dutch was led by Matt Meyers with 13 points.  Nick Dorman and Deckar Lynch added 12 each.
